Source boundary
Every candidate had to remain available through an official Google Play URL using hl=en&gl=IN on 18 September 2026. We recorded the current official title, developer, user rating, review count, download band, India price, advertising and in-app-purchase labels, content rating and update date. When a platform feature, connection mode or controller statement was not explicitly visible, the data says “Not stated on the Google Play listing” instead of turning absence into a claim.
Official icons and screenshots were downloaded from each qualifying store page, converted locally to efficient WebP files and logged in assets/images/sources.json. Images demonstrate the publisher's presentation; they do not prove responsiveness, balance or device performance.
Editorial scoring model
The four weighted criteria below total 100%. Editors assign the separate score after comparing the same fields across the shortlist. A Google Play user rating may inform context, but it is never copied into the editorial score or represented as this site's user review. Download counts indicate reach, not merit. Prices are reproduced in Indian rupees as supplied by the storefront and are never converted from another currency.

Ties are resolved by the criterion with the highest weight, followed by mobile fit and the clarity of the current purchase model. Availability, ratings, prices and live-service features can change after the check date. The page therefore displays the snapshot date beside the ranking and links directly to Google Play so readers can verify current compatibility and cost before installing.
What this method does not claim
This independent editorial project has no disclosed relationship with Google or the featured developers. It does not distribute APKs, accept a store rating as proof of quality, invent an office or laboratory, or imply that every game was played on every Android device. The method is intentionally store-first: useful for narrowing a decision, limited wherever the official listing is limited.
